Whitefish Bay Camp on beautiful Lake of the Woods in Ontario is singing a new tune…Off We Go Into the Wild Blue Yonder…well, as far as Missouri for this leg of the journey.

The All-Canada Show tour starts off with a bang in St. Louis, MO on Friday, Jan 8,2010. We always look forward to the Sport Shows as they give us a opportunity to talk about the great Northern Pike, Walleye, Bass, Lake Trout, Muskie and Crappie fishing our guests can find in Lake of the Woods. Of course many of the people who come our booth at the series of shows that we do want to also talk about the Whitetail, Moose, Black Bear and Duck hunting we have to offer.

All the conversation serves to remind us that Spring is on the way and it makes us yearn to get back to our island resort. Whitefish Bay Camp is a beautifully located boat-in resort , just a five mile boat trip from our private parking area on the mainland. For this reason we are able to offer the experience of remoteness without the plane flight. Nestor Falls and Sioux Narrows in Ontario are wonderful small towns that offer people good shops for places to grab a bite to eat, something to take your thirst away, groceries, gifts, the very latest in lures and baits as well as information about the goings on in the area.

HOME TOWN SHOW

The crew of the All-Canada Show calls this area home. We always have a great turn out for this show and this year the show is joining in a promotion with Ducks Unlimited. Promises to be a fun time for all. The show guests here are always interested in what the Canadian Experience has to offer them that they can’t find in their own area. Hunting is the strong suit here but we offer a chance to combine a fishing and hunting trip into one trip….always popular. The show is held at the ShopKo Hall 1901 S Oneida St opening Thursday, Jan 29 and closing late in the afternoon on Sunday, Feb.1 and our booth is number 408. Come on over!!

The Madison Marriott West located at 1313 John Q Hammons Dr in Middleton, WI is the home of the ALL-CANADA Fishing and Hunting Show in the Madison. This is a beautiful venue for this show….another of those that is connected right to the hotel and makes registering and setting up go so much easier for the exhibitors. Our show visitors like it too as it is one of the shows offers a warm intimate setting. Easy to get to, free parking and good company …hard to beat. We’ll be in town and in our booth number 212 beginning Jan.26 until evening of Jan 28. Come on over!

Back to the lake

We always enjoy our short but sweet stay in with the All-Canada Show at the County Sports Complex, 6000 W Ryan Rd.
The crowd is so enthusiastic in Milwaukee and their interests are certainly Fishing and or Hunting. Their questions are always right on the money which makes it so much easier to help them put together the vacation they are looking for. Group Discounts and Family Plan is very popular here. All-Canada Hunting and Fishing Show

This show has had great attendance. The crowd is certainly a hunting group….lots of interest in Bear Hunts and well as Whitetail Deer and Moose. While there is a good deal of deer hunting done in this area comments are often heard about the size of the Whitetail Deer compared to the ones found in this area. The ones here apparently are smaller over all.

Warm and welcoming

Whitefish Bay Camp has certainly appreciated the hospitality offered to us in this community. the people who have come out to this show are well armed with their questions and looking for a good trip to Canada and the people in the car wash and the various stores have been friendly and helpful.

Fishing

Interest is big on both Small-mouth Bass and Large-mouth Bass. While people can catch Bass in this area and big ones at that folks seem to appreciate that size they find in the colder waters of Canada. Muskie is certainly on the minds of our friends here but the Northern Pike seems to be king. We find it so much fun to hear the stories people have to tell and find it interesting to see which species is the more popular.

Winter Wonderland

Chicago was great to the All-Canada Show….your welcome was much appreciated! Whitefish Bay Camp had a great show and we thank you. The snow storms were not too bad although it was just a tad messy there for a while! Nothing prettier though than new fallen snow! See you next year Chicago.

SUCCESSFUL SHOW

Sometimes, in this business, we have to wait a while to judge the success of any given show. With the Minneapolis All-Canada Show we are able to see immediate positive results. Of course, we are hoping to see even more as time goes on and some of the people we spoke with will get their fishing trip and/or hunting trip plans together and give us a call.

CROWDS

The weather certainly did not help bring people out of their homes but even though the attandance seemed to be fewer than many of us would like to see those who did come out were interested in talking to owners and certainly asked all the right questions. There was a good football game also on tap. The most important issue was that this was a booking crowd.

THANK YOU

Bob and I both want to thank everyone who took the time out of their weekend to come to the Minneapolis All-Canada Show and in particular those who talked with us about what WHTIEFISH BAY CAMP has to offer them as they plan their trips. We are always pleased to welcome back returning guests and we recognize what a compliment it is that you choose to return time and again. We are so pleased when new guests place their faith in us and trust what we have told them they will find in a stay with us. We will do our level best to make your stay with us everything you want it to be!

We know that there are limits to what we can control and the fish biting what you are offering is one of those things we have let go of….suggestions always….but the catching is all up to you! We will be there to celebrate with you or offer the tissue box if we have to mourn! We still have time to plan good hunts and that will make for good conversation as the season draws closer and closer.
